Midnight Manor 1F - Tuesday Afternoon
After the conversation at work yesterday and the events that unfolded over the weekend, Kamala decided it was time to call her old buddy Bruno. Thirty minutes of whining and pleading later, he finally agreed to get back to her with the results of the blood test he’d run on Arden weeks ago.
It wasn’t like Bruno didn’t want to help, but he was being a total nerd, rattling off scientific mumbo-jumbo that no normal person could understand, and insisting he needed more time.
Honestly, he might’ve convinced her, too... if Kamala hadn’t been running on the energy of an actual Squishy from yesterday. (Thanks, El!)
So now, Kamala and Arden were in her room, on video chat with Bruno. And just for fun, Kamala turned his image into a talking tiger.
“Seriously, KK?” Bruno groaned.
“Trust me, you look greeeeeaaat!” Kamala teased with a grin.
